Playtime even better with The Rise's support

Playtime at the Wyndham Little Buddies Toy Library is now even more enjoyable thanks to new toys courtesy of The Rise – one of Peet Limited’s growing communities in Tarneit.

The Rise, together with Tarneit Gardens and Innisfail Estate in Point Cook, has provided funding for the purchase of new toys through Peet’s Community Sponsorship Program.

The Wyndham Little Buddies Toy Library provides families with children up to the age of five with affordable access to a varied selection of safe and age-appropriate toys that can help preschoolers learn and develop through play.

Peet Limited Managing Director and CEO Brendan Gore said the Company was pleased to be supporting Little Buddies.

“The Little Buddies Toy Library provides a valuable resource to local families,” said Mr Gore.

“The sponsorship provided by the Tarneit Gardens, The Rise and Innisfail communities will help to provide more toys that enhance the children’s learning and play time.

“The volunteers who run the library work hard to provide children with quality educational toys and we are pleased to be supporting them.”

The Wyndham Little Buddies Toy Library has been providing local families with access to a wide range of quality toys for many years. The library’s first branch – in Kookaburra Avenue in Werribee – has been in operation for 13 years, and the Point Cook branch, located in the Point Cook Community Centre, opened in September 2009.

The Library’s Werribee branch is just a short drive away from Peet’s communities at The Rise and Tarneit Gardens, and the Point Cook branch is just minutes away from Innisfail.

Kathryn Saunders, Wyndham Little Buddies Toy Library Treasurer, thanked Peet for its support.

“Peet’s contribution is the single largest donation by a private company to the Toy Library since it opened,” said Mrs Saunders.

“The funds will enable us to provide an even better range of new toys for the 250 families who are members of the library.”

Enquiries relating to Toy Library membership can be directed to the Little Buddies coordinator on 0434 863 570.
